Spring is a beautiful time of year. The days become warmer, flowers start to grow, and the trees become green again. Many people like to travel during their spring holidays.
This year, I went to the countryside with my family. We stayed in a small house near a lake. Every morning, we had breakfast outside and enjoyed the fresh air. After breakfast, my brother and I walked around the lake. We saw many birds and beautiful flowers. My mother liked to walk in the forest. She took photos of the animals.
One afternoon, we had a picnic in a large green field. The weather was perfect. We ate sandwiches, fruit, and chocolate. My parents drank coffee, and my brother and I played games. In the evening, we went back to the house and cooked dinner together. We were tired, but we were very happy.
I really enjoyed my spring holidays because I spent time with my family and enjoyed nature. I hope we come back next year.
