Day at school

Read about a student's day at school and learn what he does in his lessons. After that, you will have several questions to check your reading comprehension.

My name is Sam, and I am a student. I go to school from Monday to Friday. My school is big and has many classrooms. I am in class 3B.

My classes start at 8:30. Our first lesson is English. I like English because we read stories and learn new words. After English, we have math. Math is sometimes difficult, but our teacher helps us when we have a problem.

At eleven o'clock, we have a short break. I usually eat an apple and drink some water. I talk with my friends in the school yard. When the bell rings, we go back to our classroom.

The next lesson is science. I love science! We learn about plants, animals, and the weather. Sometimes we do experiments. It is very interesting.

Lunchtime is at 12:30. I eat with my friends in the canteen. I usually have a sandwich, some fruit, and water. After lunch, we have PE. I like PE because I can run and play sports with my friends. We play football or basketball.

School finishes at 3 o'clock. I am usually tired when I go home. School is fun because I learn new things and see my friends every day.

Test of reading comprehension.
